PESCO: VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO), a Public Limited Power Distribution Company, is seeking a qualified professional for a project-based position under the World Bank-funded "Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP)."

Position Detail

Position Gender Specialist
No. of Posts 01
Remuneration Rs. 185,800/- (All-inclusive)
Age Limit Up to 40 years
Contract Period Until the project ends (Maximum June 30, 2027)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Master’s Degree (16 years of education) in Gender Studies, International Development, Social Sciences, or related disciplines from a recognized university. Higher qualifications will receive additional weightage.

  • Experience: * Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in gender mainstreaming, equality, and gender-based violence (GBV).

    • Experience in multi-sectoral community-based projects or the public sector is preferred.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Urdu is required; proficiency in Pashto is an advantage.

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
