SITUATION VACANT NOTICE NO. 05/2026

OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A PART OF PCAA'S PROFESSIONAL TEAM

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires the services of qualified individuals to fill the following vacant posts. Selection will be made purely on suitability and merit.

POST 1: FLIGHT OPERATIONS INSPECTOR (AEROPLANE) (EG-08)

Prescribed Qualification & Experience

• Hold or have held an ATPL with a type rating on a Commercial Transport Aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 Kg or more.

• Not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command of Commercial Air Transport Aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 Kg or more.

• 10 years or more experience in Commercial Air Transport Aircraft as a Pilot.

• Experience in operational management is a plus, preferably with a background in airline operations, safety management, compliance audit, and/or regulatory oversight.

• SFI/TRI/SFE/TRE endorsement on an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). SFE/TRE will be preferred.

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

• Knowledge of ICAO Annex 6 and EU regulations in the area of OPS.

• Proficiency in the use of IT MS Office is a must.

• Must have an excellent safety record and demonstrated high degree of professional integrity.

POST 2: SUPERINTENDENT (SG-10)

Prescribed Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors with at least 2nd Division.

• Must have MS Office Certificate.

• Minimum Ten (10) years of working experience in General Administration and Office Management, including:

  • Maintenance of official documents and records.

  • Data entry and management of complex schedules.

  • Preparation and processing of administrative cases.

  • Office coordination, supervision of staff, and correspondence management with multiple stakeholders.

• Experience in the aviation sector, particularly in administration, office management, and operations management, will be preferred.

2. Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of:

   • Certificate/Degree of the required qualification (only for the concerned post mentioned above)

   • Updated CV

   • CNIC

3. Candidates applying for the post of Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-08) will be required to upload:

   • Copy of ATPL containing relevant endorsements

   • Copy of the last page of Log Book containing details of flying hours

4. In case a candidate does not upload the above documents with the online application form, his/her application will be rejected.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

1. Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete applications shall not be considered.

2. Tests/Interviews will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, for which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).

3. The candidates called for the interview must produce original documents for necessary verification while appearing for the interview.

4. No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview.

5. Appointment will be subject to CAA's medical fitness standards.

6. Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per the requirement of PCAA.

7. Government servants/employees of autonomous bodies/corporations will be required to submit NOC from the current employer before the interview.

8. Applications received after the due date will not be considered/entertained.

9. Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered a definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise qualified.

10. In case any educational document or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect/fake/bogus at any stage, the services of the selected candidate will be terminated immediately.
