PAKISTAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY (PCAA)

SITUATION VACANT – NOTICE NO. 01/2026

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority invites applications from qualified and experienced Pakistani nationals for the following post. Selection will be based on suitability and merit.

POST DETAILS

Position: Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) – EG-08
Number of Vacancies: 02
Quota: Merit
Age Limit: Maximum 66 years (including all applicable age relaxations)
Pay Scale: Rs. 1,373,230/- per month with 5% annual increment
Contract Duration: 3 years (extendable)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Must hold or have held an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) with a type rating on a Commercial Transport Aircraft with MGTOW = 40,000 Kg.

  • Minimum 5000 hours as Pilot-in-Command of commercial air transport aircraft.

  • Must possess a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) endorsement on ATPL.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Commercial Air Transport Aircraft as a pilot.

  • Experience in operational management, preferably in airline operations, safety management, compliance audit, or regulatory oversight.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Knowledge of ICAO Annex 6 and relevant EU regulations for flight operations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and IT tools.

  • Excellent safety record and high degree of professional integrity.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Fill and submit the Online Job Application Form available at www.pcaa.gov.pk within 15 days from the date of advertisement.

  2. Upload scanned copies of relevant certificates/degrees, updated CV, and CNIC.

  3. For Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-08), also upload:

    • Copy of ATPL with endorsements

    • Last page of logbook showing total flying hours

  4. Applications without the above documents will be rejected.

TERMS OF REFERENCE & ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Only candidates meeting all requirements and submitting complete applications will be considered.

  • Tests/Interviews will be conducted in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta; separate notices will be issued.

  • Candidates must present original documents for verification at the interview.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.

  • Appointment is subject to CAA’s medical fitness standards.

  • Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan.

  • Government servants/employees of autonomous bodies must submit NOC from current employer before interview.

  • Late applications will not be considered.

  • Providing false or misleading information will lead to disqualification.

  • Any fake or incorrect documents will result in immediate termination, even post-appointment.
