Job Opportunities – April 2026

Karachi Port Trust (KPT), one of Pakistan’s premier maritime organizations, invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates for various vacant positions on a contract basis.

1. General Information

  • All appointments will be made on a contract basis for a period of 2 years (extendable based on performance).
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules and KPT regulations.
  • A general age relaxation of 5 years is already included in the upper age limit.

2. Available Positions

Position Categories (KPT Pay Scales)

KPT PS-3

  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Qualification:
    • Matriculation
    • Relevant diploma or certification (if required)
  • Experience:
    • 1–2 years of relevant experience in the related field
  • Maximum Age Limit: 30 years

KPT PS-2

  • Number of Posts: 5
  • Qualification:
    • Matriculation
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience
  • Maximum Age Limit: 30 years

3. Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications and experience.
  • Applicants must be physically fit and suitable for the role.

4. Special Quotas

  • Women quota will be observed as per government policy.
  • Minorities quota is reserved.
  • Disabled persons quota will be applied according to Federal/Provincial Government rules.

5. Instructions for Government Employees

  • Candidates currently working in government departments must:
    • Apply through proper channel
    • Provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application/interview
