INSTITUTE OF POSTGRADUATE MEDICAL SCIENCES (IPMS)

University of Lahore Hospital (ULH)

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: POSTGRADUATE TRAINEES

The University of Lahore Hospital invites applications for its Postgraduate Training programs (FCPS & MCPS) across multiple medical specialties.

TRAINING PROGRAMS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. FCPS Postgraduate Trainees (Core Specialties)

  • Departments:

    • Medicine

    • General Surgery

    • Obstetrics & Gynaecology

    • Ophthalmology

  • Qualifications: Candidates must have cleared the FCPS Part 1 exam and completely meet the standard CPSP Eligibility Criteria.

2. FCPS Postgraduate Trainees (Specialized Sub-specialties)

  • Departments:

    • Anesthesia

    • Orthopedics

    • Urology

  • Qualifications: Candidates must meet the CPSP Eligibility Criteria. Preference will be given to candidates who have already passed the FCPS IMM (Intermediate Module) examination.

3. MCPS Postgraduate Trainees

  • Departments:

    • Anesthesia

    • Radiology

  • Qualifications:

    • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.

    • Completion of a mandatory 1-Year House Job, which must include a formal rotation in the relevant department applied for.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS & METHOD

?? Important Note: Applications must be submitted in physical (hard) form. Incomplete application dossiers or those received after the deadline will be rejected automatically.

  1. Application Form: Collect the prescribed application form directly from the HR Office at ULH.

  2. Processing Fee: A fee of Rs. 5,000/- is applicable.

  3. Dossier Checklist: Compile and submit the following documents in hard copy:

    • Updated CV.

    • Three (03) latest passport-size colored photographs.

    • Attested copies of all educational certificates, transcripts, and degrees.

    • Relevant experience certificates.

    • Valid and current PM&DC registration certificate.

    • Domicile and CNIC copies.
