Technical, Management & ACE Trainee Programs 2026

The University of Lahore (UOL) is pleased to announce multiple trainee programs aimed at developing young professionals and diploma holders by providing structured training, practical exposure, and career growth opportunities. These programs are designed to groom fresh graduates and early-career individuals for future roles within the university’s technical and administrative departments.

1. Technical & Management Trainee Program

The Technical Trainee Officer (TTO) and Management Trainee Officer (MTO) Programs are designed to attract talented graduates in Information Technology and Business disciplines. Selected candidates will undergo comprehensive training, hands-on assignments, and departmental rotations to develop professional competencies in IT services, design, administration, finance, and business operations.

A. Technical Trainee Officers (TTO)

Program Overview

The TTO Program focuses on technical development in IT Services and Design departments. Participants will gain practical exposure in system management, infrastructure support, technical operations, and digital solutions within the university environment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in:

    • Computer Science (CS)

    • Information Technology (IT)

    • Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum 3.00 CGPA

  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Contract Duration

  • Initial contract period of 2 years

Stipend & Compensation

  • First Year: PKR 60,000/- (all-inclusive)

  • Second Year: PKR 80,000/- (all-inclusive)

B. Management Trainee Officers (MTO)

Program Overview

The MTO Program is structured to prepare graduates for administrative and managerial roles. Trainees will gain exposure in finance, operations, planning, procurement, and other core business functions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in:

    • Commerce

    • Trade

    • Finance

    • Business Studies

  • Minimum 3.00 CGPA

  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Contract Duration

  • Initial contract period of 2 years

Stipend & Compensation

  • First Year: PKR 60,000/- (all-inclusive)

  • Second Year: PKR 80,000/- (all-inclusive)

2. ACE Trainee Program

ACE Technical Officer (ATO)

Program Overview

The ACE Technical Officer (ATO) Program is designed for diploma-level professionals seeking to build careers in technical support and operations. This program focuses on IT infrastructure support, laboratory management, equipment handling, and basic technical operations within the university.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Three-Year DAE in:

    • Electronics

    • Computer Information Technology

    • Electrical

    • Or related field

  • From a recognized technical board

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks

  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Contract Duration

  • Initial contract period of 2 years

Stipend & Compensation

  • First Year: PKR 37,000/- (all-inclusive)

  • Second Year: PKR 60,000/- (all-inclusive)

Selection Process

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

  • A written test will be conducted as part of the selection process.

  • Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be considered.

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for interviews.
