Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Hospital Wah Cantt

FCPS PART-II TRAINEES REQUIRED

Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Teaching Hospital—a 571-bed state-of-the-art facility affiliated with Wah Medical College—is accepting applications for FCPS Part-II Training. The institution offers an active Continuous Medical Education (CME) program and encourages clinical research across all major recognized departments.

Available Training Disciplines

Young, enthusiastic doctors who have cleared the FCPS Part-I Examination can apply for residency in the following specialties:

  • General Medicine

  • Emergency Medicine

  • General Surgery

  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology

  • Paediatrics (Paeds)

  • Ophthalmology (Eye)

  • Neurosurgery

  • Anaesthesia

Special Eligibility Conditions

  • Academic Cutoff: A minimum aggregate score of at least 65% in MBBS is mandatory.

  • Preference Criteria: Preference will be granted to Wah Medical College (WMC) graduates and local residents of Wah Cantt.

Application Requirements & Documents

Applications must be addressed to the Commandant, POFs Hospital Wah Cantt. Candidates applying for multiple disciplines must submit a separate application for each specialty.

?? Mandatory Proforma: Applicants must download, fill, and attach the prescribed proforma available on the hospital's official website (hospital.pof.gov.pk — access via the "More" tab on a PC/Laptop). Applications submitted without this proforma will be rejected.

The application must include attested copies of the following:

  1. PMDC Registration Certificate

  2. FCPS Part-I Congratulation Letter / Official Result Sheet

  3. MBBS Mark Sheets (All Professional Examinations)

  4. House Job Certificates

  5. Secondary School Certificate (SSC / Metric) Mark Sheet

  6. Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC / F.Sc) Mark Sheet

  7. Domicile Certificate

  8. Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)

  9. One Passport-size Photograph
