WANTED FOR PAKISTAN ORDNANCE FACTORIES

Applications are invited from male/female citizens of Pakistan for the engagement of 150 Artisans under Batch No. 56 (2nd Phase) under the "ARTISAN TRAINING SCHEME". Interested candidates may visit the POF website at www.pof.gov.pk for detailed information and online applications. Applications sent by post will not be entertained.
Last date for receipt of applications: 02-12-2024.

Details

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification:
    • Matric with Science (Minimum 2nd Division).
    • 10% weightage for FSc (Physics & Math) or DAE holders.
  • Age: 17 to 21 years as of 02-12-2024.
  • Duration of Training: 1.5 years (3 semesters).

2. Payment of Stipend During Training

  • 1st Semester (6 months): 50% of BPS-5 (Rs. 7,615/month).
  • 2nd Semester (6 months): 60% of BPS-5 (Rs. 9,138/month).
  • 3rd Semester (6 months): 80% of BPS-5 (Rs. 12,184/month).

3. Terms & Conditions

  • Affidavit:
    Selected candidates will submit a Rs. 100/- affidavit on stamp paper, committing to complete training satisfactorily.

  • Employment:

    • POF is not obligated to offer jobs post-training.
    • Successful apprentices may be absorbed based on seat availability, with a commitment to serve POFs if employed.

  • Bond Deed:

    • Those offered jobs will sign a bond to serve POFs for at least 6 years.
    • Early termination requires refunding training expenses + Rs. 50,000 penalty.

4. Accommodation

Hostel accommodation may be provided upon request, subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Application Submission

  • Apply Online: Submit applications via the POF website www.pof.gov.pk by 02-12-2024.
    • Applications sent by post or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
    • Ex-Artisans terminated on disciplinary grounds are ineligible.
  • Interview Process:
    • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via SMS. Ensure the mobile number provided is active (non-converted).
    • POF is not responsible for SMS delivery issues.

Interview Locations: Wah Cantt, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Quetta.

  • No TA/DA is admissible for the test/interview.
