Position Title: Executive Director General (MP-I Scale)

Hiring Organization:
Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division (Policy Wing), Government of Pakistan

Objective:
Seeking dynamic, energetic, and outstanding candidates with relevant education and experience for appointment under the Management Position Scales Policy, 2020.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in the following fields:

    • Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Mining, Electrical, Refining, Energy, or Gas Technology)

    • Petroleum Geology, Geophysics, or Geology

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years in the oil and gas sector (for PhD holders)

  • Minimum 9 years in the oil and gas sector (for Master’s degree holders)

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 62 years (as on the closing date of application submission)

Contract Tenure

  • Initial Period: 3 years

  • Extension: Up to 2 additional years on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory performance
