Advertisement for Temporary Recruitment (Contingent Paid Staff - Entomologists)

To prevent dengue, it is essential to maintain a clean and dry environment. Under the directive of the Government of Punjab via Letter No. SEC-5/2023 (Misc) dated 10 June 2025 and subsequent instructions via Letter No. 2(SOEP&C)12/2016 dated 27 June 2025, applications are invited for the temporary recruitment of Contingent Paid Staff (Entomologists) for a maximum of 89 days under the Anti-Dengue Program in District Rawalpindi.

Healthy and physically fit candidates (male and female) are required for recruitment against entomologist positions to perform fieldwork across various union councils, towns, and tehsils in Rawalpindi District.

Position Details

  • Post Name: Entomologist (Male & Female)

  • Total Number of Vacancies: 52

  • Minimum Qualification:

    • M.Sc. or BS (Hons) in Entomology, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences, Microbiology, or related subjects

    • Preference will be given to those with at least Second Division from HEC-recognized institutions

    • Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

Terms & Conditions

  1. Temporary Nature: Recruitment will be for 89 days only. No extension will be granted beyond this period.

  2. Merit-Based Selection: Only residents of Punjab province are eligible, but preference will be given to candidates residing in Rawalpindi.

  3. Non-transferable Job: These positions are non-transferable and cannot be claimed for permanent employment or regularization in any forum.

  4. Performance-Based Pay: Monthly salary will be paid based on satisfactory performance.

  5. Termination Policy: Absenteeism or poor performance may result in immediate termination without notice.

  6. Posting Area: Candidates can be posted anywhere in Rawalpindi district, including urban and rural union councils.

  7. Recruitment Authority Rights: The authority reserves the right to cancel, amend, or halt the recruitment process at any time without assigning a reason.
