ADVERTISEMENT FOR TEMPORARY RECRUITMENT

Anti-Dengue Program – District Murree

With the approval of the Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab (vide letter dated 17 March 2026), applications are invited for purely temporary (daily wages) recruitment for a maximum period of 89 days under the Anti-Dengue Program in District Murree.

Healthy, physically fit, and capable male and female candidates are required to work in high-risk Union Councils and towns for dengue surveillance and prevention activities.

Eligibility Criteria

For Entomologist

• Qualification:
  • MSc in Agriculture (Entomology) OR
  • BS (Hons) Agriculture (Entomology) – at least 2nd Division from an HEC-recognized institution
• Alternative Qualification (if above not available):
  • MSc / BS (Hons) in:
    • Biology
    • Zoology
    • Microbiology
    • Molecular Biology
    • Environmental Sciences
    • Medical Technology
      (Minimum 2nd Division from HEC-recognized institution)
• Experience:
  • Preference will be given to candidates with relevant field experience
• Age Limit:
  • 25 to 35 years

For Sanitary Patrol (Male/Female)

• Qualification:
  • Minimum literacy (ability to read and write)
  • Preference will be given to candidates with higher education
• Experience:
  • Preference for relevant field experience
• Additional Requirement:
  • Must have a personal Android mobile phone (version 15.0 or above)
  • Candidates unable to use Android phones are not eligible
• Age Limit:
  • Male: 18 to 33 years
  • Female: 18 to 35 years
• Physical Fitness:
  • Candidates must be physically fit, as the job involves fieldwork

Duty Locations

Recruitment will be carried out for various Union Councils of District Murree, including but not limited to:

Murree City, Angoori, Charhan, Dewal, Darya Gali, Ghora Gali, Rawat, Phagwari, Bhurban, Kotli Sattian, Kallar Syedan areas, and other surrounding Union Councils.

(Local residents of the concerned Union Councils will be given preference. If positions remain vacant, candidates from nearby areas may be considered.)

Terms & Conditions

1. These positions are purely temporary (daily wages) for a maximum of 89 days.
2. Selected candidates cannot claim regularization or contract extension in any forum.
3. This job experience will not grant age relaxation for future government jobs.
4. Recruitment is specifically for high-risk dengue areas, and preference will be given to local residents.
5. Daily wages will be paid as per Finance Department, Government of Punjab rates, with deductions for absence.
6. Selected candidates must register their mobile phones on the PITB Dengue Surveillance Dashboard.
7. Performance will be monitored daily, and poor performance may result in salary deduction or termination.
8. Candidates must hold a Punjab domicile, with preference for Murree residents.
9. Only candidates with valid CNIC (issued by NADRA) are eligible.
10. No separate call letters will be issued for interviews.
11. Age relaxation will be granted as per competent authority rules.
12. Recruitment may be cancelled or postponed at any stage by the competent authority.
13. These positions are not regular/work-charge posts, and selected candidates cannot claim regular employment.
14. Other rules will apply as per Government of Punjab policies.
