Vacant Positions

The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi invites applications from qualified and suitable candidates for various contract-based positions at the Trauma and Surgical Emergency Center, Larkana.

These appointments will be made purely on a contract basis, extendable upon satisfactory performance.

?? Available Positions

1. Emergency Physician

  • Location: Larkana

Qualification & Experience

  • FCPS or equivalent in Emergency Medicine / Surgery / Medicine
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification
  • Valid PMDC registration required
  • Preference will be given to candidates with post-residency experience in reputed hospitals

2. Resident Medical Officer (Emergency)

  • Age Limit: 40 years
  • Location: Larkana

Qualification

  • MBBS with house job completed
  • FCPS training in Emergency Medicine / Medicine / Surgery (preferred)
  • Valid PMDC registration

3. Medical Officer

  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Location: Larkana

Qualification

  • MBBS with house job completed
  • Valid PMDC registration
  • Preference for candidates with experience in reputable hospitals

4. Staff Nurse

  • Age Limit: 40 years
  • Location: Larkana

Qualification

  • Diploma in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with valid PNC registration

5. Computer Operator / Receptionist

  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Location: Larkana

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2nd division) from recognized university
  • 1-year diploma in Information Technology from recognized institute
  • Preference for candidates with hospital information system experience

6. Nursing Assistant

  • Age Limit: 30 years
  • Location: Larkana

Qualification

  • Matric with Science
  • 1-year diploma or training in Nursing Assistant / Nursing Aid
  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience

7. Radiology Assistant

  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Location: Larkana

Qualification

  • Diploma in X-Ray Technician from Sindh Medical Faculty
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a reputed hospital

8. Pharmacy Assistant

  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Location: Larkana

Qualification

  • Relevant diploma or experience in pharmacy field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in dispensing or hospital pharmacy

9. Ward Boy

  • Age Limit: 30 years
  • Location: Larkana

Qualification

  • Middle or Matric preferred
  • Experience in hospital setting will be preferred
