Academic /
Minimum Bachelor's degree from HEC recognized University I Institute.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in banking preferably in advances I credit, with at least 03 years of experience in agriculture and SME lending at middle / senior management level.
  • Candidates having experience in finance and / or economics and I or agriculture will be given preference.

Expertise /
  • Good knowledge about agri products, services, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of SBP rules, regulations and procedures regarding agri banking.
Outline of Main
Duties /
  • To oversee and monitor overall business generated from agriculture loan portfolio.
  • To ensure that remedial actions are taken when (and where) required to keep NPLs minimized.
  • To monitor and achieve SBP disbursement targets.
  • To ensure booking of quality assets in agriculture portfolio.
  • To prepare budgets, business plans, target market studies and strategy documents consistent with economic & market conditions and Bank's overall strategy.
  • To review and recommend amendments in the agriculture lending policy of the Bank and the manual of agriculture lending.
  • To define processes and measures that ensure the growth of the agriculture loan portfolio in a manner consistent with strategic objectives of the Bank.
  • To manage field progress against plans, evaluation process & turn-around-time (TAT) and streamline the loan approval process.
  • To enhance performance of field functionaries through performance development, capacity building and trainings. Also,  to ensure that the team members receive relevant trainings and feedback in order to develop and achieve their maximum potential.
  • To coordinate with SBP I audit inspection when required.
  • To develop and implement new products / product modifications / new initiatives related to agriculture lending.
  • To develop and implement the digitalization of the agriculture lending process in the Bank.
  • To interact with service providers for digital feeds, data providers in order to enable improved performance of the agriculture lending portfolio.
  • To establish and maintain excellent working relationship with key stakeholders and colleagues in order to deliver first class service to customers.
  • To supervise and provide guidance to team members in performing various tasks assigned from time to time.
  • To perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor(s).
