Position: Director – Quaid-i-Azam Academy (Karachi)

The National Heritage & Culture Division, Government of Pakistan, invites applications from highly qualified, experienced, and eminent scholars for the prestigious position of Director, Quaid-i-Azam Academy, Karachi.

Pay Package / Scale

  • The position falls under the Management Position (MP) Scale
  • Salary package will be determined based on the candidate’s standing, qualifications, and experience in the relevant field

Tenure of Appointment

  • Initial appointment will be for a period of three (3) years
  • The tenure may be extended subject to approval by the competent authority

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Master’s Degree in one of the following disciplines from an HEC-recognized university:
    • Pakistan Studies
    • History
    • Political Science
    • Sociology

Experience & Profile (Any One of the Following)

  1. Demonstrated credible research and literary contributions related to:
    • Quaid-i-Azam
    • Pakistan Movement
    • History of Pakistan

OR

  1. A person of national or international stature with:
    • Established background
    • Significant experience in the relevant field
