VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), Lahore

Applications for the following vacancies are invited on the prescribed form, downloadable from www.gifd.edu.pk. SR. NO. 1: DIRECTOR PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Nature of Post: Contract basis as per PIFD statutes
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Planning & Management, Business/Public Administration, or equivalent with 15 years of planning experience in a university or governmental/autonomous body

SR. NO. 2: DEPUTY DIRECTOR PLANNING

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Nature of Post: Contract basis as per PIFD statutes
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Planning & Management, Business/Public Administration, or equivalent with 5 years of planning experience in a university or governmental/autonomous body

SR. NO. 3: CIVIL ENGINEER

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Nature of Post: Contract basis as per PIFD statutes
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: B.Sc or equivalent in Civil Engineering, preferably from UET or any HEC-recognized university, with two years of relevant experience

SR. NO. 4: FOOTWEAR TECHNICIAN

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Nature of Post: Contract basis as per PIFD statutes
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Primary pass with eight years of experience in the shoe manufacturing industry or running a small footwear manufacturing unit/workshop

SR. NO. 5: WOOD TECHNICIAN

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Nature of Post: Contract basis as per PIFD statutes
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Intermediate with ten years of professional experience

SR. NO. 6: FEMALE ATTENDANT (DAY CARE CENTER)

• Number of Posts: TWO (02)
• Nature of Post: Contract basis as per PIFD statutes
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Literate with sound health and relevant experience

Project Management Staff for the Project Titled “Girls Hostel”

SR. NO. 7: PROJECT DIRECTOR

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Emoluments: Rs. 306,250/- all-inclusive per month
• Nature of Post: Contract basis, initially for one year, extendable subject to continuation of the project
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university, or a PEC-registered BSc/BE in Civil Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the supervision of public sector development projects

SR. NO. 8: ACCOUNTS OFFICER

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Emoluments: Rs. 110,000/- all-inclusive per month
• Nature of Post: Contract basis, initially for one year, extendable
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: MBA (Finance)/M.Com/CMA or equivalent from a recognized university with 5 years of relevant experience in the public/private sector

SR. NO. 9: SUB ENGINEER/BUILDING SUPERVISOR

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Emoluments: Rs. 70,000/- all-inclusive per month
• Nature of Post: Contract basis, initially for one year, extendable
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or equivalent with 5 years of experience in supervising infrastructure projects

SR. NO. 10: ASSISTANT

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Emoluments: Rs. 12,500/- all-inclusive per month
• Nature of Post: Contract basis, initially for one year, extendable
• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Graduate with at least a second division, preference will be given to those with knowledge of word processing and typing

SR. NO. 11: ASSISTANT (OTHER POSITION)

• Number of Posts: ONE (01)
• Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- all-inclusive per month
• Nature of Post: Contract basis, initially for one year, extendable
• Minimum Qualification: Matriculation
