UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, PESHAWAR

POSITIONS VACANT

Online applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment against the following posts in the University. The requisite qualifications and experience are given below.

1. Director PPO (PPS-10) (Regular)
Planning & Development (P&D) Position, UET Peshawar		 01 Qualification: First division Master degree in Economics, Management or Business Administration of 526 Engineering, Generally shall be from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan recognized University/Institution.
Experience: 17 years experience in the relevant field in a University of a Government Department or of an Autonomous Organization in pay scale 17 or equivalent positions.
2. Director Admissions (BPS-20) (Regular)
Directorate of Admissions, UET Peshawar		 01 Qualification: PhD/ M.Phil/MS/ME in Engineering, Computer Science, Social Sciences and Management Sciences, Generally shall be from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan recognized University/Institution.
Experience: 15 years relevant experience in Government or University relating to teaching, curriculum, planning, assessment or research.
3. Additional Director Budget & Finance (BPS-19) (Regular)
Directorate of Finance, UET Peshawar		 01 Qualification: PhD/ M.Phil/MS/ME in Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or Chartered Accountant, Generally shall be from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan recognized University/Institution.
Experience: 10 years experience of accounts/Finance & Audit/Financial Management in a University and Government Department or of an Autonomous recognized Organization in pay scale 17 or equivalent positions.
4. Manager Research Development (R&D) (BPS-18) (Regular)
Directorate of Research & Development, UET Peshawar		 01 Qualification: PhD/ M.Phil/MS/ME in Engineering, Computer Science, Social Sciences and Management Sciences, Generally shall be from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan recognized University/Institution.
Experience: 05 years experience as a faculty member and researcher, a record of success in obtaining research grants and conducting research in a University or Government recognized Institution.
5. Lecturer (BPS-18) (Contract)
Department of Computer Science, UET Peshawar		 01 Qualification: MS/ M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
6. Lecturer (BPS-18) (Contract)
Department of Computer Science, UET Peshawar (Bannu Campus)		 02 Qualification: MS/ M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
7. Lecturer (BPS-18) (Contract)
Department of Computer Science, UET Peshawar (Bannu Campus)		 02 Qualification: MS/ M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
8. Lab Engineer (BPS-17) (Regular)
Department of Computer Science, UET Peshawar (Bannu Campus)		 02 Qualification: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Software) from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The Competent Authority has the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or not to fill any post without assigning any reason.
  2. Experience in the relevant field shall be counted after the date of acquiring the prescribed qualification.
  3. The candidates must be in possession of the required documents at the time of interview.
  4. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/test.
  5. The candidates must submit attested copies of all documents along with application.
  6. Incomplete applications or those received after due date shall not be entertained.
  7. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
  8. Age limit: As per University rules.
  9. Application processing fee is Rs. 500/- for each post.
  10. Errors, if any, are liable to rectification by the University.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Visit www.uetpeshawar.edu.pk and apply online.
  2. Deposit Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) in favour of “The Registrar, UET Peshawar” in any branch of UBL, ABL, MCB or HBL.
  3. Printed copy of online application along with attested copies of documents must reach the Registrar Office by 1st July, 2020.

PROCEDURE FOR QUALIFYING SCREENING/TEST AFTER ETEA TEST

  1. ETEA test for all posts will be conducted.
  2. Top 10 candidates per post will be called for screening test/interview.
  3. Final selection will be made on the basis of merit.
  4. Any other information can be obtained from the Registrar Office.
