DIRECTOR

(Management Grade D-I1 equivalent to BPS21)

NFC IEFR, Faisalabad is a modern educational and research Institute imparting industry focused Engineering and Technology programs in affiliation with University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. The Institute, which is functioning under Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, Government of Pakistan is in search of a highly qualified, dynamic and competent professional / educationist for appointment as Director for a period of three years extendable on yearly basis for an other two years or uptill age of sixty years which ever is earlier, on such terms and conditions to be determined y the Board of Governors of the Institute. The Director shall be the head of the Institute, responsible for all functions and will be stationed at the campus on full time basis and shall be responsible before the BoD of NFC-IEFR as per law.

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate should:

1. Have earned a PhD Degree preferably in Engineering, Science or Management from a leading national and international university ranked among top 500 universities based on rankings from QS and Times Higher Education.
2. 15-years teaching/research experience in a recognized Institution/College/University or 15-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 5-years must be teaching experience. OR 10-years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
3. Be able to demonstrate evidence of excellence and achievement, research in the key areas of responsibility, management, initiating and managing change, capacity building and training, strategic planning and overseeing the implementation of plansthrough to outcomes.
4. 15 research publications with at least 5 in the last five years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.
5. Age between 52 to 57 years on the last date fixed for submission of the applications.

Pay Package

Negotiable within equivalent grade as per qualification, experience and achievements.
