The National Forensics Agency (NFA), a Federal Government Agency established under the National Forensics Agency Act, 2024, invites applications from bright, motivated, and qualified Pakistani nationals for the following regular technical and administrative positions, as well as one contractual position at its headquarters in Islamabad.

A. Digital Forensics Wing

1. Deputy Director (Digital Forensics)

• Scale: NFAPS-09

• No. of Posts: As per approved quota

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s/BS (16–18 years education) in Computer Science, Information Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, or related field.

  • Relevant professional experience in digital forensic investigations, cybercrime analysis, and forensic tools.

2. Assistant Analyst (Mobile / Computer / Networks)

• Scale: NFAPS-07

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or equivalent.

  • Experience in mobile device forensics, computer forensic investigations, and network analysis preferred.

3. Analyst (Audio/Video Forensics)

• Scale: NFAPS-07

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Media Sciences, Digital Forensics, or related discipline.

  • Experience in forensic examination of audio/video evidence.

4. Support Officer (Digital Forensics)

• Scale: NFAPS-05 / NFAPS-06

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

  • Experience in technical support, documentation, and evidence handling.

B. Conventional Forensics Wing

1. Deputy Director (Conventional Forensics)

• Scale: NFAPS-09

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Forensic Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related field.

  • Extensive experience in forensic casework and laboratory management.

2. Assistant Director / Forensic Analyst

• Scale: NFAPS-07 / NFAPS-08

• Fields May Include:

  • Toxicology

  • Pathology

  • Firearms & Toolmarks

  • Questioned Documents

  • Fingerprint Analysis

  • Narcotics & Explosives

• Qualification: Relevant Master’s degree in specialized forensic discipline.

3. Accident / Crime Scene Analyst

• Scale: NFAPS-07

• Qualification: Degree in Forensic Science, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline with crime scene investigation experience.

C. Administrative & Support Staff

1. PS to Director General

• Scale: NFAPS-07

• Qualification: Graduate with shorthand/typing proficiency and relevant experience.

2. Cashier

• Scale: NFAPS-06

• Qualification: B.Com / BBA (Finance) with relevant experience in accounts handling.

3. Other Support Staff

• Various administrative and technical support positions under NFAPS scales as per approved establishment.

D. Contractual Position

PS to DG (Contract Basis)

• Fixed Salary: Rs. 170,000/- (Lump Sum)

• No. of Post: 01 (Merit)

• Contract Duration: As per policy

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate with relevant experience in office management and secretarial support at senior level.
