POSITIONS VACANT – CORRIGENDUM

Karachi Metropolitan University invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for multiple vacant positions. This corrigendum is issued to amend and clarify specific terms of eligibility criteria, experience requirements, and scope of work for previously advertised posts.

General Scope of Work

The roles advertised are aimed at enhancing the university’s operational capabilities in various domains including:

  • Cybersecurity and IT Systems Planning

  • Procurement & Financial Compliance aligned with Public Financial Management (PFM) and Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) standards

  • Project Design & Proposal Writing for funding agencies

  • University-Industry Collaboration and stakeholder engagement

Revised Eligibility Criteria & Experience Requirements

1. Cybersecurity & IT Planning

  • Qualification: Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (HEC recognized).

  • Experience: Hands-on experience in planning cybersecurity frameworks and managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure. Preference will be given to candidates with certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent.

2. Procurement & Finance

  • Qualification: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Public Administration, or Supply Chain Management.

  • Experience: Proven track record in public procurement, contract management, and compliance with PPRA rules and government audit standards. Experience with PFRA systems is essential.

3. Project Management & Grants

  • Qualification: Master's degree in Project Management, Development Studies, or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing and managing grant proposals, donor coordination, and liaising with funding agencies (national and international).

4. University-Industry Relations

  • Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a relevant field.

  • Experience: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain industry-academia partnerships, internship programs, and collaborative research projects.

Note: All degrees must be from HEC-recognized institutions. Foreign degrees must be attested/equivalenced by HEC.
