The Home Department Balochistan, Government of Balochistan, invites applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals for appointment to the position of:

Director General (BPS-20)

Balochistan Forensic Science Agency (BFSA)

The appointment will be made on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval by the competent authority.

The selected candidate will lead all technical, administrative, and operational functions of the Balochistan Forensic Science Agency, Quetta.

Required Qualification

The applicant must possess:

  • MSc or Ph.D. in one of the following disciplines:

    • Forensic Science

    • Forensic Pathology

    • Forensic Medicine & Toxicology

    • Forensic Immunology

    • Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry

    • Biochemistry

    • Physics

    • Biotechnology

    • Genetics

    • Biological Sciences

    • Pharmaceutics

    • Computer Forensics

    • Molecular Biology

    • OR Master’s Degree in Administrative / Management Sciences

  • Degree must be from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  • Foreign qualification will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of experience as a Bench Analyst (hands-on laboratory work) in a forensic laboratory of international repute.

  • Experience in:

    • Administrative or supervisory positions in forensic laboratories

    • OR Administrative / Management roles in multinational companies (MNCs), particularly in:

      • Organizational Development

      • Management Information Systems (MIS) implementation

      • Operations Management

      • HR Recruitment & Selection

      • Process Reengineering

      • Quality Control Assurance (QCA) implementation

  • Experience with laboratories accredited under:

    • ISO 9001

    • ISO 17025

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
