Applications are invited from qualified individuals domiciled in the Province of the Punjab for the following positions under the HEC approved projects "TDF03-260" and "TDF03-001" in the Computer Engineering Department of the university as detailed below.

HEC FUNDED PROJECT POSITIONS 1. TDF,03-260 (DEFENDER: HARDWARE TROJAN RESILIENT PROCESSOR CORE)

1 FPGA Development Engineer (Rs. 25,000/- per Month) 01 Up-to 02-Years An industrial experienced person to help the team to resolve any issue in porting / development of said technol- ogy in the RTL. The person should be Masters Degree holder (Electrical Computer / Software, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering) with several years of industrial experience in the relevant field. A person specialized in embedded systems with several years of industrial experience and post-graduate qualifica­tion (Electrical Computer / Software, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering) is required. Verification of a processor IP requires skills in verification methodology such as UVM. Therefore, an industrial experi­enced person will be required to support the core team in execution of this task Post-graduate qualification (Electrical, Computer / Software, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering) is required for this task. II.TDF03-001 (COMMERCIALIZATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF AIRCRAFT IN-FLIGHT LOADS COMPUTER SOFTWARE)

Note:

  1. Applications (in hard form) duly complete in all respect must be reached in the R&I Cell of UET Taxila on or before October 15, 2021 (Friday) up-to 03:00 p.m.

  3. Application fee (non-refundable) @ Rs. 1,500/- for all posts must be paid in the favor of the Treasurer, UET Taxila in shape of Bank Draft / Postal Order / HBL Challan of UET Taxila Branch.
  4. Attested copies of degree / certificate / testimonials / CNIC / experience certificates and photograph must be attached.
  5. The above all mentioned HEC funded Project posts (Section 1&I1) are purely project-based, hence no right of regular appointment and permanent absorption at the university.
  6. Incomplete or late received applications will not be entertained and only short-listed candidates will be called for test / interview.
  7. The university reserves the right to accept or reject any application without any reason. Number of project posts can be decreased subject to availability of funds or other reasons.
  8. No TA / DA will be paid for the interview / Tests etc.
