GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB

AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in Punjab for recruitment on a contract basis under the development project titled:

“Agricultural Farm Mechanization Project (2025–26 to 2027–28)”
under the Director General Agriculture (Field), Punjab.

• Rs. 207,900/- per month with annual increment

• Maximum 35 years

• No relaxation in upper age limit is admissible

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & ELIGIBILITY

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from an HEC-recognized university

Professional Experience & Expertise

• Minimum three (03) years of work experience in:

  • AutoCAD

  • SolidWorks

Additional Skills (Preference)

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Proficiency in Fusion 360, Ansys, Bender, CAD/CAM

• Basic knowledge of EDEM, CATIA, PTC CREO

• Experience or focus on the use of automation and robotics in agriculture

Note: Candidates must pass a test related to the above-mentioned design software.

IMPORTANT NOTES & CONDITIONS

1. Age relaxation is not admissible.

2. Candidates possessing other relevant degrees must provide an HEC equivalence certificate or certificate issued by the competent authority.

3. Retired Government servants are not eligible.

4. Contract appointments are:

   • Temporary in nature

   • Non-transferable

   • Job/post specific

   • Non-pensionable

   • Not conferring any right of regularization

5. Initial contract period will be one (01) year, extendable up to the project duration with approval of the competent authority.

6. In case of reduction or enhancement of the project period, the contract appointment will be amended accordingly.

7. Recruitment will be made strictly on merit on All Punjab basis, in accordance with the eligibility and selection criteria approved in the PC-I.

8. The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.

9. Selected candidates will not be entitled to pay protection or regularization.

10. No post falls under quotas reserved for Women, Minorities, or Disabled Persons.
