Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) - Career Opportunities

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulatory body for Pakistan’s capital markets and corporate sector, invites applications from qualified, result-oriented, and motivated professionals from Balochistan province. These positions are based in Islamabad and are offered on a contractual basis for three (03) years. Candidates with integrity and exceptional analytical skills are encouraged to apply for the following positions:

1. Deputy Director (01 Position)

Qualification:

  • LL.B. or LL.M. from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
  • Must be enrolled as an advocate of the High Court for at least the last 04 years.
  • Preference will be given to those who have completed the Bar at Law course after obtaining the LL.B. or LL.M. degree.

Post Qualification Experience:

  • Minimum 06 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience as an Advocate of the High Court.
  • Proven expertise in handling corporate litigation, criminal prosecution, and providing legal advisory services.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age: 40 years on the last date of application submission.
  • Candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with a regulator will receive a 5-year age relaxation.

2. Assistant Director (01 Position)

Qualification:

  • LL.B. or LL.M. from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the Bar at Law course after obtaining the LL.B. or LL.M. degree.

Post Qualification Experience:

  • At least 03 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age: 35 years on the last date of application submission.
  • Candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with a regulator will receive a 5-year age relaxation.

Additional Information

  • These positions are exclusively for candidates from Balochistan province.
  • The SECP may consider regularizing the positions after three years, subject to fulfilling the prescribed criteria.
  • SECP offers a competitive compensation package.

  • Final appointments will be based on passing a multi-tier interview process, medical tests, and psychological assessments.
