Job Opportunity: Deputy Assistant Director - Artificial Intelligence

NADRA invites applications from highly skilled and experienced professionals under the provisions of Regulation 9, 10, and 11 of the NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002. The position is based in Islamabad.

Position Details

  • Title: Deputy Assistant Director – Artificial Intelligence

  • Maximum Age Limit: 30 years

  • Location: NADRA Headquarters, G-5/2, Islamabad

  • Contract Duration: Initially 5 years (extendable)

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's (4 years) in:

    • Computer Science

    • Artificial Intelligence

    • Data Science

    • Related disciplines

  • Requirement: Degrees must be recognized and attested by HEC (Higher Education Commission)

Professional Experience

  • Preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years in:

    • Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects

    • Data Science projects

  • Certifications: Preference given to candidates with certifications such as:

    • IBM Data Science

    • IBM Machine Learning

    • Or equivalent

Skills & Competencies

Candidates must have:

  • Programming Proficiency:

    • Strong command over Python

    • Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning libraries

  • Technical Knowledge in:

    • Machine Learning (ML)

    • Deep Learning (DL)

    • Natural Language Processing (NLP)

    • Large Language Models (LLMs)

    • Computer Vision

  • Practical Abilities:

    • Designing and deploying AI models

    • Supporting R&D across various AI domains

    • Integrating AI solutions into real-world applications

    • Collaborating with other departments on AI initiatives

Terms & Conditions

  1. Initial appointment on a 5-year contract (extendable based on requirement).

  2. Management reserves the right to reject any application without assigning a reason.

  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test/interview.

  4. Disqualification in case of any false information provided.

  5. Government/Semi-Government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application.

  6. Age relaxation of up to 5 years is already included in the age limit.

  7. Selected candidates must provide:

    • Medical Fitness Certificate

    • Character Certificate

  8. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in test/interview.

  9. HEC-attested degrees or equivalent regulatory body attestation required at the interview stage.
