Office of the Hospital Director

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – DEAN

The Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment & Research (NSICT&R), Lahore, invites applications from Pakistani and Foreign Nationals for the post of Dean on a contract basis.

1. Educational Qualifications

  • Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent recognized by HEC/PMDC

  • Postgraduate Qualification: FCPS / MD / MS / FRCS, or membership/fellowship of a Royal College in oncology or related specialties recognized/registered by PMDC

  • Accredited qualifications and recognized experience in oncology-related fields will be preferred

2. Professional Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of post-fellowship experience in:

    • HEC-recognized universities, or

    • PMDC-recognized medical teaching institutions

  • Minimum 15 research publications in PHC/HEC-recognized or internationally indexed medical journals in the relevant specialty

3. Age Limit

  • Candidate must be between 40 and 70 years on the closing date of application

4. Tenure of Appointment

  • Term: Five (05) years

  • Eligibility for re-appointment based on satisfactory performance evaluation by the Board of Governors

5. Salary

  • PKR 2.5 million to 3 million per month

  4. Government Employees:

  5. Mandatory:

    • All terminal degrees must be entered in PMDC or relevant forum

  6. Shortlisting & Interviews:

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview

  7. Incomplete applications will not be entertained

  8. No TA/DA will be admissible for interviews
