VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: Public Diplomacy Coordinator (MP-II)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Islamabad, is seeking applications for the position of Public Diplomacy Coordinator (MP-II) on a three-year contract basis under the MP Scales Policy. This position will be filled strictly on an open merit basis.

## Job Overview

  • Position: Public Diplomacy Coordinator

  • Scale: MP-II (Management Position-II)

  • Location: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad

  • Tenure: Initially three (03) years, extendable for a maximum of another three (03) years on an annual basis (subject to satisfactory performance).

  • Maximum Age Limit: 65 years (calculated as of the closing date of application submission).

## Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria sets:

  • Ph.D. in Public Diplomacy, Media Management, Communication, Journalism, or a relevant subject AND a minimum of 08 years of professional experience in the relevant field.

  • Master’s Degree in Public Diplomacy, Media Management, Communication, Journalism, or a relevant subject AND a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the relevant field.

## Compensation & Benefits (MP-II Scale Policy 2020)

Benefit Component Amount (PKR)
Basic Pay Rs. 385,450/- per month
Annual Increment Rs. 51,200/-
House Rent Allowance Rs. 110,800/- per month
Utilities Charges Rs. 15,250/- per month
