Situation Vacant

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad invites applications for the positions of Consultant and Research Assistant under a research project titled “Cluster Migration Labour Affairs”. The appointment will be made purely on a contract basis.

?? Project Details

  • Funding Agency: Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC)
  • Project Duration: Till completion of project (extendable based on performance and project continuation)

1. Consultant (01 Post)

Project Lead

Dr. Sadaf Mahmood
Associate Professor
Department of Rural Sociology, UAF

Salary Package

  • Lump sum: Rs. 300,000 (one-time payment)

Qualification & Experience

  • PhD in Social Sciences (foreign PhD preferred)
  • Minimum 15 years research experience in:
    • Migration studies
    • Labour studies
    • Related social science fields

Key Role

  • Provide expert consultancy for research design, implementation, and policy guidance

2. Research Assistant (01 Post)

Salary Package

  • Rs. 45,000 per month

Qualification

  • MPhil / PhD in Sociology
  • Strong computer literacy and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Research experience in relevant field
  • Publications or certifications in related areas

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in data collection and analysis
  • Support field research activities
  • Contribute to report writing and documentation
  • Support project coordination tasks
