VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ministry of Law and Justice intends to hire the services of a qualified and experienced professional for the following position in the Office of the Attorney General for Pakistan. The appointment will be made on a contract basis, initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable in accordance with the MP Scale Policy, 2020.

Position Details

1. Consultant (MP-II Scale)

  • Pay Package: MP-II Scale
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Up to 62 years

Minimum Qualification & Experience

Option 1:

  • Ph.D. in Law
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field

OR

Option 2:

  • Master’s degree in Law
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in the relevant field

Professional Credentials (Preferred Skills & Experience)

  • Experience in drafting and reviewing:
    • Conventions
    • Agreements
    • MOUs
    • Contracts
    • Other legal documents
  • Understanding of International Law
  • Ability to provide legal opinions on policy and regulatory matters
  • Experience in legislative drafting
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
    1. Public sector organizations
    2. State-owned corporations/entities
    3. Reputable private sector organizations
