Department of Agriculture – Irrigation Reforms Division
Project: “Development of Command Area under Jam Pur Irrigation Project”
Supported by: Asian Development Bank (ADB)

The Department of Agriculture, under the Irrigation Reforms Division, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for appointment on temporary positions under the project “Development of Command Area under Jam Pur Irrigation Project.” Applications must be submitted by 27 February 2026.

The age limits and educational requirements for each position are provided below.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Contract Duration:

    • Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable based on performance.

  2. Age Relaxation:

    • Relaxation in upper age limit will be granted as per government rules.

  3. Termination / Resignation:

    • Employment can be terminated with one month’s notice without providing a reason.

    • Employees leaving voluntarily must also provide one month’s written notice.

  4. Benefits:

    • Employees hired on a contract basis are not entitled to provident fund, pension, or other benefits.

  5. Permanent Employment:

    • Appointment on these positions does not confer any right to permanent employment in this or any other position.

  6. Required Documents:

    • Applications must include attested copies of educational certificates, CNIC, and two recent passport-size photographs.

  7. Application Submission:

    • Applications must be submitted in person at the office of the Director General Agriculture (Irrigation Reforms), 21-LC Road, Lahore, during office hours.

  8. Interview / TA/DA:

    • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test or interview.

    • Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.

  9. Selection Policy:

    • Candidates will be selected according to the Recruitment Policy issued on 09 March 2022.

  10. Submission Method:

    • Applications will only be accepted in sealed envelopes.

  11. Shortlisting:

    • In case of a large number of applications, only eligible candidates will be called for tests/interviews.

  12. Reservation / Number of Posts:

    • The number of posts may be increased or decreased as per project requirements.
