POSITION TITLE:
Fielding Coach (Red & White Ball) – Pakistan Men's National Cricket Team

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is seeking an experienced and skilled Fielding Coach to join the Pakistan Men's National Cricket Team. The Fielding Coach will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the fielding skills of Pakistan National Team Players, ensuring they meet and exceed international standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Role Summary):

  • Design and implement comprehensive fielding development programs for national team players.

  • Analyze player performance and provide targeted coaching to improve fielding techniques.

  • Monitor and evaluate current fielding systems and processes used in international cricket.

  • Introduce modern fielding methodologies and drills aligned with global best practices.

  • Collaborate with the head coach, support staff, and players to integrate fielding strategies into overall team performance plans.

  • Assess individual player strengths and weaknesses and develop personalized improvement plans.

  • Maintain detailed records of player progress and prepare performance reports for management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE

A. Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum Level II Cricket Coaching Accreditation.

B. Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar cricketing role with elite cricketers, national teams, franchise teams, or international teams.

C. Core Competencies & Skills:

 
Competency Area Specific Requirements
Technical Knowledge Excellent understanding of fielding techniques, game analysis, and player development.
Modern Methodologies Proven experience in monitoring and evaluating systems and processes currently in vogue at the international arena for developing modern fielding techniques.
Coaching Track Record Experience in successfully coaching athletes/cricketers to required international standards.
Planning & Execution Strong planning, organizing, and executing capabilities.
Management Strong management skills.
Interpersonal Skills Proven ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
Problem-Solving Strong analytical capabilities with problem-solving skills.
IT Proficiency Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite). Coaching Software would be considered an added qualification.
