Recruitment Advertisement for Watchman (Chowkidar)

The Elementary and Secondary Education Department, District Charsadda, invites applications from eligible domicile holders of District Charsadda for recruitment to the post of Chowkidar (BPS-03) in boys’ schools under its administration.

Applications must reach the office within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement during official working hours. All applications must be complete in all respects and supported with attested documents.

Post Details

1. Chowkidar (BPS-03)

  • Total Vacancies: 38

  • Age Limit: 18 to 40 years

  • Qualification: Illiterate (no formal education required)

Quota Distribution:

  • Open Merit: As per policy

  • Disabled Persons: 2% quota

  • Minorities: 5% quota

  • Transgender Persons: 0.5% quota

General Terms and Conditions

  1. All appointments will be made strictly on merit in accordance with the rules and prescribed procedure of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

  2. Recruitment will be based on District Charsadda domicile only. Applicants must possess a domicile certificate and computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) of District Charsadda.

  3. Incomplete applications will be rejected without any right of appeal.

  4. Quotas for disabled persons, minorities, and transgender individuals will be implemented according to government rules. However, the disability must not hinder the performance of duties.

  5. Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age.

  6. In case of appointment, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants Act, 1973 (as amended 2022) will apply.

  7. After publication of this advertisement, no change in domicile or permanent address on CNIC will be accepted. Applications or documents received after the due date will not be considered.

  8. No TA/DA will be provided for submitting applications or appearing in interviews.

  9. The competent authority reserves the right to amend, cancel, or increase/decrease the number of vacancies as per government policy.

  10. The following attested documents must be attached with the application; otherwise, it will not be accepted:

  • One recent photograph

  • Copy of CNIC

  • Copy of domicile certificate

  • Union Council certificate
