Central Power Generation Company Limited (CPGCL) is a Public Sector Power Generation Company located at Guddu District Kashmore (Sindh). The Company has plants located in Quetta, Sukkur and Guddu. The CPGCL significantly contributes to the socio-economic development of the country by producing optimum electrical energy and is primarily responsible for technical innovation, economically viable, socially responsible for efficient generation of electricity and managing the Operation & Maintenance system of the Power Plant in the best interest of the Nation.
The Company is looking for a high caliber energetic, proactive, result-oriented professional to work as Chief HR & Admin Officer (CHR) to be based at its Head Office located at Guddu. The Chief HR & Admin Officer is to be part of its Senior Management Team and will directly report to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
An ideal candidate must have solid expertise in the implementation of a complete HR Lifecycle, ranging from HR Strategy, Organizational Design, Organizational Development, Compensation & Reward Management, Performance Management and
Training & Development. The candidate must have experience in General Administration, Labour or Employees Relations, Security Management, Fleet Management, Facility Management and Public Procurement under PPRA Rules. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Change Management and Reform implementation by aligning the HR Strategic Plan with
the overall business goals of the organization.
The candidate must be:
a. Masters in HR or MBA (HR) or MPA (16 years of education) from a reputed national or international university duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC). A degree in Law or any international certifications in HR will be considered as an added qualification.
b. At least fifteen (15) years of relevant post-qualification experience with five (05) years in Senior Management Positions (BPS-19 & above in case of Public Sector Companies and Head of the Department/Division in case of Private Sector Companies) in a large scale and reputed public or private organizations with hands-on experience of dealing with labour unions and industrial relations.
c. An ideal candidate must be acquainted with ERP Tools, good Knowledge of relevant Computer Software, Outsourcing/Contract Management, Public Sector Reforms, Public Sector Corporate Governance Guidelines and Technology Enablement in large-scale organizations.
AGE Maximum 55 years as on the last date of submission of application.
REMUNERATION Competitive salary package commensurate with the qualification and experience.
TENURE The contract will be initially for a period of three (03) years extendable subject to satisfactory performance
& job requirement.
