Career Opportunity for the Post of Chief Executive Officer

National Power Parks Management Company (Private) Limited (NPPMCL)

About NPPMCL:
National Power Parks Management Company (Private) Limited (NPPMCL), an entity of the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), manages assets worth over PKR 500 billion and generates substantial revenue. NPPMCL plays a critical role in Pakistan’s power sector by contributing 2400 MW to the national grid through two RLNG-based combined cycle power plants:

  • 1223 MW Plant at Balloki, District Kasur
  • 1230 MW Plant at Haveli Bahadur Shah, District Jhang

NPPMCL ensures high-quality technology and service delivery through collaboration with O&M contractors.

Position Details:
NPPMCL is seeking applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals who meet the fit and proper criteria outlined in the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess one of the following:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (PEC accredited) from an HEC-recognized university.
  2. Master’s Degree in Business Administration from an HEC-recognized university.
  3. Chartered Accountant from ICAP or Cost and Management Accountant from ICMAP.

Preference:
Candidates holding Master’s/Ph.D. degrees in the above disciplines from HEC-recognized institutions will be preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of senior management experience in governance, business administration, corporate/structured finance, or related fields within reputable organizations with commercial/industrial orientation.
  • Preference for candidates with a minimum of three years experience as the head of a comparable organization.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum 58 years as of the last application submission date.

Term of Appointment:

  • The selected candidate will be appointed for a term of three (03) years, subject to applicable laws.

  • NPPMCL offers a market-based remuneration package and fringe benefits based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
