Job Opportunities

The Port Qasim Authority invites applications from suitable and eligible candidates for appointment to senior-level positions on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years (extendable subject to performance). Positions are to be filled strictly on a merit basis.

• Regularization Clause: The contract appointment is extendable based on performance; however, the appointee shall have no right to claim regularization against the respective post(s).

### Available Senior Positions & Eligibility Criteria

01. Chief Financial Officer (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age Limit: Up to 50 Years

• Qualification: ACA, ACMA, or ICAEW.

• Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience must be in a senior financial management role.

  • Preference: Candidates with experience in the public sector, ports, maritime, logistics, or infrastructure organizations.

02. Chief Internal Auditor (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age Limit: Up to 50 Years

• Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with professional certifications such as ACA or ICAEW.

• Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in auditing or compliance.

  • Preference: Experience in public sector audit or regulatory compliance frameworks.

03. Director (Tax) (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age Limit: Up to 50 Years

• Qualification: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Law. Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant, ACMA, or registered Tax Practitioner/Specialist.

• Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of direct experience in taxation.

  • At least 5 years of experience must be in a senior tax management role.

  • Preference: Proven track record dealing with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

04. Director Special Projects (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age Limit: Up to 50 Years

• Qualification: Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Infrastructure Development, or professional/academic setups like ICAEW, ACA, or MBA.

• Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in project management.

  • Preference: Experience in large-scale infrastructure, logistics, or maritime development projects, or project management experience within financial institutions.

05. Director (Legal) (BPS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age Limit: Up to 50 Years

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Law (LLM) with 10 years of experience in legal affairs, OR

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with 12 years of experience in legal affairs.

• Core Competency: Strong structural knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies governing corporate or public sector legal work.

06. Director (Human Resource) (BPS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age Limit: Up to 50 Years

• Qualification: At least a 2nd Class Master's Degree in Administrative Sciences, Social Sciences, MPA, or MBA (Human Resources).

• Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 17 years of experience in personnel administration/HR within a Government, Semi-Government, or large commercial organization of repute.

  • Must possess proven expertise in managing establishment offices.
