LADY READING HOSPITAL – MEDICAL TEACHING INSTITUTION, PESHAWAR

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION

POST:

Chairman, Accident & Emergency Department

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PMDC/PMC.

  • Higher qualification in Emergency Medicine, such as:

    • FCPS in Emergency Medicine

    • MRCEM / FRCEM / FEBEM

    • US Board Certification or equivalent qualification in Emergency Medicine

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an emergency physician in a reputable institution.

  • Selected candidate will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Interested candidates should send their application on the prescribed form (available at www.lrh.edu.pk) via registered courier service by /12/2025.

  2. The job application must include:

    • A covering letter

    • A detailed Curriculum Vitae

    • Photocopies of all relevant documents (degrees, experience certificates, research papers with authorship)

    • Names, addresses, and email contacts of three (03) referees

  3. Hand submission of applications will not be entertained.

  4. A candidate will be disqualified if he/she:
    a. Furnishes false information knowingly
    b. Suppresses information that may lead to disqualification

  5. The incumbent’s service will be governed by the Medical Teaching Institution Reform Act 2015, its amendments, and the Rules and Regulations of the Institution.

  6. Any attempt to approach or influence the selection committee will automatically disqualify the applicant.

  7. After a final decision, no correspondence regarding the process will be entertained.
