Appointment of President/CEO

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the position of President/CEO at the Bank of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The eligibility criteria, terms, and conditions for the role are outlined below:

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification and Competencies

  1. Age Requirement:

    • Candidates must be between 40 to 62 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

  2. Educational Requirement:

    • Minimum qualification: Graduation or equivalent.

  3. Professional Experience:

    • Must be a career banker with a minimum of 5 years of experience at a senior level (Executive Vice President or above or equivalent) in a bank.
    • The candidate must demonstrate adequate knowledge, expertise, and skills related to:
      • The bank's business model
      • Overall size, complexity, and risk profile

Terms and Conditions

  1. Location:

    • The selected candidate will be based at the Bank of Azad Jammu & Kashmir's Head Office in Muzaffarabad.

  2. Contract Period:

    • The appointment will be made for a term of 3 years, extendable by mutual consent.

  3. Compensation:

    • An attractive salary and emoluments package will be offered, negotiable based on terms.

  4. Fit and Proper Test:

    • The selected candidate must meet the Fit and Proper Test criteria prescribed by the State Bank of Pakistan.
