Job Opportunity

The Office of the District Education Officer (Primary), Malir Karachi invites applications from eligible candidates who have successfully passed the Bachelor Category Test conducted by IBA Sukkur Testing Service (STS).

Applicants must possess Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of District Malir, Karachi. Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.

Qualification / Education Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university approved by HEC.

Preferred Degrees

  • B.Com

  • BBA

Additional Requirement

  • Six-month certificate course in MS Office from an institute recognized by:

    • Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE)

    • Trade Test Board

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have passed the General Screening Test (Graduation Category) conducted by IBA Sukkur Testing Service (STS).

  • Obtain at least 40% marks in the STS test.

  • Possess a valid certificate issued by IBA STS.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Number of posts may be increased or decreased depending on departmental requirements.

  3. Age Calculation

    • Age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission according to Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024.

  4. Age Relaxation

    • Maximum 5 years upper age relaxation is allowed according to the notification issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department dated 06-03-2025.

  5. Quota Policy

    • Reserved quotas for recruitment will be implemented according to the laws and policies of the Government of Sindh.

  6. Government Employees

    • Applicants already working in government departments must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.

    • The original NOC must be presented during the interview.

  7. Recruitment Policy

    • Appointments will be made according to the Government of Sindh Recruitment Policy dated 26-04-2023.

    • Recruitment will follow the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973 and relevant rules.

  8. Interview Process

    • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.

    • Candidates must bring original documents during the interview.

  9. TA/DA

    • No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for the interview.
