Position Details

The Chief Minister's Secretariat / House, Sindh is seeking applications from eligible candidates to fill two (02) vacant positions for the role of Bearer (BPS-05) .

Eligibility Criteria

1. Prescribed Qualification

  • Education: Matriculation at least in "C" grade from a recognized Board of Education.

  • Experience: At least one (01) year of experience in a Hotel, Restaurant, or Caterer.

2. Required Skills

  • Clearing and cleaning of tables.

  • Communicating with kitchen staff.

  • Serving of drinks and food.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

General Instructions & Application Process

  1. Screening Test: Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test (Matriculation Category) conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) with at least 40% marks. A valid STS certificate is mandatory.

  2. How to Apply: Eligible candidates must submit their applications through the Sindh Job Portal at the official website: https://sjp.gov.pk .

  3. Application Deadline: The application must be submitted within 15 (fifteen) days of the publication of this advertisement.

  4. Domicile & PRC: Candidates must submit their Domicile and PRC/Form-D certificates. These documents must be dated on or before the closing date. Certificates acquired or submitted after the cut-off date will not be accepted.

  5. Government Employees: Applicants already serving in Government Service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department before applying. The original NOC must be presented at the time of the interview.

  6. Appointment Policy: The appointment will be made in accordance with the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023 and under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and its rules.

  7. Age Calculation: The age of applicants will be calculated as of the closing date for submission of applications, as per Rule 7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024. Any relaxation in the upper age limit will be subject to prevailing government rules.

  8. Reserved Quotas: All reserved quotas for all categories will be observed as applicable.

  9. Application Validity: Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

  10. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee for an interview along with their original documents. The interview schedule will be uploaded on the Sindh Job Portal.

  11. Travel Allowance: No TA (Travel Allowance) & DA (Daily Allowance) will be admissible for the interview.
