POSITION VACANT

The Chief Minister’s Secretariat / House, Sindh, Karachi invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Telephone Operator (BPS-06). There are 08 vacant positions available. Details are provided below:

Position: Telephone Operator (BPS-06)

Number of Vacancies: 08

Eligibility Criteria

1. Academic Qualification

  • Minimum qualification: Matriculation

2. Mandatory Test Requirement

  • Applicants must have:

    • Successfully passed the General Screening Test (Matriculation Category) conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS)

    • Obtained at least 40% marks

    • Possess the STS passing certificate

3. Age Limit

  • 18 to 30 years

  • Age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission as per Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2023.

  • Upper age relaxation will be applied according to the prevailing rules/policies of the Government of Sindh.

4. Experience

  • Minimum 6 months experience in the relevant field.

Required Skills

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to efficiently manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls

  • Capability to direct calls to appropriate officers/departments

  • Maintain telephone logs and keep contact directories updated

  • Report faults in telephone lines or communication equipment

  • Must be computer literate

General Instructions

  1. Submission of Applications

  2. Government Employees
    Applicants already serving in Government departments must:

    • Obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department before submission of application

    • Present the original NOC to the Departmental Selection Committee at the time of interview

  3. Appointment Rules
    The appointment process will be conducted according to:

    • The Policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023

    • Provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973 and its rules (as amended)

  4. Interview Requirements
    Applicants must appear before the Departmental Selection Committee with original documents on the interview date.
    The interview schedule will be uploaded on the Sindh Job Portal.

  5. TA/DA
    No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.
