Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak is a Public-Sector University, Chartered by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, offering the following faculty positions:

Available Positions

Associate Professor (BPS-20)

Assistant Professor (TTS/BPS)

Required Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.

Experience:

  • Associate Professor: Minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized institution, or 5 years post-PhD in a relevant professional role at a national or international organization.
  • Publications: Candidates must have 10 research publications, with at least 4 within the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals. HEC's updated criteria apply.

Skills: Proficiency in written, communication, and presentation skills is required.

  1. Application Forms: Downloadable from the university's website or available at the Office of the University Registrar.

  2. Application Fee: Submit a non-refundable processing fee through Demand Draft in favor of the Treasurer, Khushal Khan Khattak University, or deposit online to A/C No. PK51 KHYB 0049 0020 0757 3537, The Bank of Khyber Main Bazar Branch, Karak (0049).

    • Rs. 2500/- for BPS-20 positions
    • Rs. 2000/- for BPS-19 positions
    • Additional Rs. 3500/- for research publication evaluation for Associate Professors

  3. Required Documents: Applicants should submit attested copies of all degrees, diplomas, certificates, two recent passport-size photographs, and for Associate Professor positions, four sets of:

    • List of research publications
    • Reprints of publications with title pages of journals
    • Curriculum Vitae

  4. Employment Documentation: Government or Semi-Government employees must apply through the proper channels and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

  5. Foreign Degrees: Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide an HEC/IBCC equivalency certificate before the application deadline.

Important Dates

  • Application Deadline: November 28, 2024, for local candidates; December 03, 2024, for overseas candidates.
    (If the deadline falls on a public holiday, the next working day will apply)

Additional Notes

  • Separate applications are required for each post.

  • CGPA below 3.00/4.00 is not considered first division.
