POSITIONS VACANT

Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the following regular basis teaching positions:

1. Assistant Professor (BS-19)

Subjects & Number of Posts:

  • Chemistry – 02 Posts

  • Education – 01 Post

  • English – 01 Post

  • Psychology – 01 Post

  • Software Engineering – 01 Post

Qualification & Experience Required

For Disciplines other than Engineering, Information Technology & Computing Sciences:

  • PhD in the relevant subject or an equivalent qualification from an institution or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

For Engineering, Information Technology & Computing Disciplines:

  • PhD in Engineering / Information Technology / Computing or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution or university.

Age Limit

  • As per Government of Punjab rules (age relaxation admissible).

MANDATORY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Applications must be submitted online through the University of Mianwali portal:

    Last date for online submission: 18 February 2026

  2. A printed copy of the online application, duly signed by the candidate, along with attested copies of all relevant documents, must reach:
    Office of the Registrar, University of Mianwali
    By 04:00 PM on 20 February 2026

  3. Application must be accompanied by an original bank draft of Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) as processing fee, drawn in favor of:
    Treasurer, University of Mianwali

  4. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications along with separate bank drafts for each post.

  5. Candidates already employed in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel by the due date.

  6. Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by HEC.

  7. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

  8. Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/interview.

  9. Quota will be observed as per Government of Punjab rules. Applicants applying under any quota must clearly mention the category and submit applications separately.

  10. The University reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement, increase or decrease the number of posts, withhold appointments, or accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.

  11. No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.

  12. The decision of the University shall be final and binding in all cases.
