Qualification & Experience Requirements

1. Controller of Examinations (BS-20)

Age Limit: 40–50 Years

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

• Option 1:

  • PhD in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university/institute

  • 08 years post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in an HEC-recognized public/private university or public sector organization

OR

• Option 2:

  • MS or MPhil (Second Division) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university/institute

  • 10 years post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in an HEC-recognized public/private university or public sector organization

OR

• Option 3:

  • Master’s degree or BS (04 years) in any discipline (at least Second Division) from an HEC-recognized university

  • 12 years post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in an HEC-recognized public/private university or public sector organization

2. Treasurer (BS-20)

Age Limit: 40–50 Years

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

• Option 1:

  • PhD in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or Economics from an HEC-recognized university

  • 08 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field

OR

• Option 2:

  • MS or MPhil (Second Division) in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, or equivalent qualification in Accounts & Audit from an HEC-recognized institute/university

  • 10 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field

OR

• Option 3:

  • MBA (Finance), M.Com, ACCA, ACMA, or MSc (Economics) (Second Division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university

  • 12 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field

Mandatory Instructions

1. Applicants must submit two (02) complete sets of application forms on the prescribed format (downloadable from www.umw.edu.pk) along with:

   • Attested copies of academic degrees and certificates

   • Experience certificates

   • CNIC

   • Two recent passport-size photographs

   • Original bank draft of PKR 4,000/- (non-refundable) as processing fee

     • Drawn in favor of Treasurer, University of Mianwali

2. Applications must reach the Office of the Registrar, University of Mianwali on or before 20 February 2026.

3. All previous advertisements for these statutory positions stand cancelled.

4. Appointments shall be made only from candidates domiciled in Punjab Province.

5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

   • No TA/DA shall be admissible.

6. Candidates holding foreign degrees must provide an HEC equivalence certificate.

7. Applicants currently serving in Government / Semi-Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.

8. Incomplete applications, applications received after the due date, or applications without the original bank draft shall not be considered.

9. Candidates applying for more than one position must submit separate applications along with separate bank drafts for each post.

10. The University reserves the right to fill or withhold any position, or to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.

11. The decision of the University shall be final and binding in all cases.
