POSITION VACANT (ADVERTISEMENT NO. 01 / 2026)

Applications are invited from qualified Pakistani citizens for a faculty position at the PAF Air War College Institute (AWCI), Karachi.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Job Title: Assistant Professor

  • Job Location: PAF Base Faisal, Karachi

  • Employment Type: Purely on a contract basis

  • Upper Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Remuneration: Competitive salary package will be offered to successful candidates

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Educational Background

  • Minimum Requirement: PhD in one of the following fields:

    • Political Science

    • International Relations (IR)

    • Defence & Strategic Studies

    • Peace & Conflict Studies

    • Economics

    • Law & Legislature

  • Degree Verification: Degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Candidates possessing a foreign degree must provide an HEC Equivalency Certificate before the closing date.

2. Professional Experience

  • Requisite post-qualification teaching or research experience in an HEC-recognized University or Degree Awarding Institute (DAI) as per standard HEC policy.

  1. Detailed CV (clearly mentioning Contact Number, Postal Address, and Email Address).

  2. HEC-attested documents (degrees, certificates, and transcripts) / HEC equivalence certificate for foreign degrees.

  3. Professional experience certificates.

  4. Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

  5. Domicile certificate.

  6. Two (2) recent photographs.

  7. Relevant research publications.
