Under the provisions of Regulation 9, 10, and 11 of the NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations 2002, NADRA is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals for the following position:

### Position Details & Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Director (Network Engineer - Routing & Switching)

  • Job Location: Islamabad

  • Maximum Age: 37 Years (Note: 5 years of general age relaxation is already included in this limit)

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's Degree (4 Years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent degree in a related field.

    • All degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  • Professional Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Communications & Networks.

    • Candidates with CCNA / CCNP certifications will be preferred.

### Key Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies

  • Core Operations: Operate, manage, and deploy Core Network Switches and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).

  • Security & Policy Management: Must possess a strong understanding of security policies and routing on firewalls/switches, including Web Filtering, DNS Filtering, IDS/IPS, Geofencing, and Email Spam Tagging.

  • VPNs: Must have an extensive understanding of IPSec VPNs.

  • Hardware & Vendor Systems: Technical understanding of network elements including Firewalls, Layer-2 and Layer-3 Switches, and their up-gradation.

  • Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot multi-vendor network devices, specifically Juniper, Cisco, H3C, and Fortigate.

### Terms & Conditions

  1. Contract & Probation: The selected candidate will be hired on a contract basis with an initial 6-month probation period (extendable if required).

  2. No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance will be admissible for the test or interview.

  3. Attestation: Attested degrees from HEC or relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of the interview.

  4. Government Employees: Candidates currently serving in Government or Semi-Government departments must attach and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application submission.

  5. Certificates Required: The final selected candidate will be required to provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.

  6. Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, and smartwatches are strictly prohibited during the test and interview.

  7. Inclusivity: Females, Minorities, Transgenders, and Differently-abled candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

  8. Disqualification: Any provision of false or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification.

  9. Management Rights: NADRA management reserves the right to accept/reject any application or withhold/cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
