The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) is a public sector autonomous organization mandated to accelerate growth in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and ICT-enabled services sector. KPITB invites online applications from eligible and competent candidates for the following position:

Position Details

Post Title:

Assistant Director Technical (Digital Access and Infrastructure)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Location: Peshawar

  • Upper Age Limit: 40 Years

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (minimum 16 years of education) in:

    • Computer Science

    • Information Technology

    • Software Engineering

    • Telecommunication Engineering

    • Computer Engineering

    • Or any other relevant discipline

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 05 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a public or private sector organization.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test. Final eligibility will be determined by the shortlisting committee.

  2. All candidates must create a profile on ETEA’s website and obtain an E-Sahulat token. CNIC verification from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk) is mandatory.

  3. Only candidates qualifying the written test will be screened further based on eligibility criteria.

  4. Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements by the last date of application submission.

  5. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

  6. Unclaimed qualifications will not be accepted.

  7. Providing false or incorrect information may lead to rejection and legal action.

  8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

  9. Government or semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel.

  10. The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased.

  11. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel or reject any application with valid reasons.

  12. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.

  13. Candidates with foreign degrees must provide an HEC equivalence certificate.

How to Apply

  1. Visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply online.

  2. After successful submission, an online deposit slip (containing token number, project code, and candidate information) will be generated.

  3. Print the deposit slip and submit the non-refundable test fee through:

    • Easypaisa App or Agent

    • Any branch of UBL Bank

    • UBL OMNI Agent

  4. Keep the original candidate copy of the deposit slip with the bank stamp.

  5. Do not send documents/testimonials to the ETEA office after online application.

  6. Documents will be required only from candidates who qualify the screening test.

  7. Online application forms will be available from 12th January 2026.

  8. Last date for submission of online applications: 31st January 2026

  9. Candidates will be informed via SMS to download and print their Roll Number Slips.

    • Do not provide ported or converted mobile numbers.

  10. Test date, time, and venue will be mentioned on the Roll Number Slip.

  11. No separate call letters will be issued via post or courier.
