FREQUENCY ALLOCATION BOARD (FAB)


SITUATION VACANT

The Frequency Allocation Board (FAB), with its Head Office in Islamabad, invites applications from citizens of Pakistan for the following regular position in accordance with the prescribed eligibility criteria.


Position Details

Assistant Director (Admin/HR)

  • PPS / BPS: EG-2 (BPS-17)
  • Salary Package: Gross salary Rs. 219,556
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
  • Recruitment Basis: Open Merit (Regular Basis)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Minimum Requirement):

Candidates must possess 16 years of education / Master’s degree in one of the following fields from an HEC-accredited university:

  • Human Resource Management (HRM)
  • MBA (HR / Management)
  • Business Administration (HR / Management)
  • Public Administration
  • Management Sciences

Academic Requirement:

  • Minimum 3.5 CGPA or 75% marks (annual system equivalent)

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 07 years of experience in BPS-16 or equivalent positions in:
    • Public sector
    • Private sector

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong skills in official correspondence and record management
  • Knowledge of:
    • Government rules and service regulations
    • Administrative procedures
  • Computer literacy is mandatory

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in recruitment, selection, and induction processes
  • Maintaining HR records, personnel files, and databases
  • Processing:
    • Leave applications
    • Promotions
    • Transfers
    • Other HR-related matters as per rules
  • Drafting:
    • Official correspondence
    • Office orders
    • Notifications and summaries
  • Supporting implementation of HR policies and administrative procedures
  • Assisting in performance evaluation and employee development activities
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational and government regulations
  • Supervising support staff
  • Performing any additional duties assigned by management

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience in multinational companies or public sector organizations
  • Candidates with engineering background (BSc Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom/Computer) registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
  • Experience in HRMS and related software tools
