Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of qualified individuals to fill the following available positions where selection will be made purely on suitability and merit:-

S. No. 01 Additional Director (General Aviation) (EG-07)
Two (02) positions on merit (one for North & one for South)
Contract: 03 years (Extendable)
Lump Sum Pay Package: Rs.676,000/- per month (Gross) with 6% annual increment
  • Graduate (BA/BSc/BBA etc) from H EC recognized university
  • PCAA ATPL Holder
  • Qualified Flying Instructor from recognized Flying Training Institute (Civil/Military)
  • Minimum 2500 Hrs of Flying Experience
  • Minimum 1800 P-1 Flying Experience on Variety of Aircraft (Single and Multi Engine)
  • Minimum 750 Hours of Instructional Experience
  • Operational and Administrative Management
  • Knowledge of PCAA Rules and Regulations
  • Knowledge of Safety Management System
  • Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)
S. No. 02 Additional Director Information Technology (EG-07)
One (01) position on Merit
Lump Sum Pay Package: Rs.415,000 per month (Gross) with 5% annual increment
Contract: 03 Years (Extendable)
  • Minimum 16 years of education with a Bachelor / Master degree from an accredited university with major coursework in a field related to information Technology / Computer Science
  • Experience of 15 years in the field of IT with at least 03 years proven experience of Senior IT manager role in any reputed organization
  • Experience in the development, implementation and integration of Business application
  • Experience in implementation of Cyber Security
  • Experience in drafting and/or reviewing policies in most current technologies, preferably on IT standards in Aviation Industry
  • Experience in design and development of IT infrastructure align with organization business needs.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise Data Management, Data Communications, High availability and disaster recovery architecture, and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of Aviation Cyber Security and Standards
  • Ability to identify and propose new information technologies and systems to improve business process in line with the best industry practices
  • Poses good analytical, creative, presentation and management abilities
  • Knowledge of integrations business applications with communication and navigation systems
  • Strong decision making with organizing and planning capabilities
  • Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)

Terms of Reference :\

  1. Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete application shall not be considered.
  2. Test / Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).
  3. The candidates to be called for the interview have to produce original documents for necessary verification while appearing for the interview.
  4. No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.
  5. Appointment will be subject to CAA's medical fitness standards.
  6. Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of CAA
  7. Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations will be required to submit NOC from current employer before interview.
  8. PCAA reserves the right to cancel this advertisement at any stage or revise terms and conditions for the post
  9. Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise qualified.
