SITUATIONS VACANT

The National Police Bureau invites applications for the following temporary technical positions under the project, as detailed below:

1. Additional Director (Digital Forensics) (SPS-10)

Qualification Required:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a BPS-designated federal/provincial position.

• Maximum Age Limit: 40 years.

2. Scientific Assistants (Various Specializations) (BPS-16, BPS-15, BPS-14)

Positions Available:

• Forensic Examination (Fingerprints, Firearms, Toolmarks, Drugs, Narcotics, Toxicology, Explosives, DNA & Serology, Questioned Documents, Digital Forensics, OSINT/Social Media, Crime Scene Investigation, Audio/Video Analysis)

Qualification Required:

• MSc/BS in relevant fields from an HEC-recognized university.

• Preference given to candidates with forensic casework experience in relevant forensic sections.

• Maximum Age Limit: 28-30 years (varies by specialization).

3. Scientific Officers (BPS-17, BPS-16, BPS-11)

Positions Available:

• Forensics (Computer, Mobile, Network, Audio/Video, OSINT, Firearms, Pathology, DNA & Serology, Polygraph, Crime Scene Investigation, Toxicology, Explosives, Questioned Documents, etc.)

Qualification Required:

• MSc/BS in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Forensic Sciences, or relevant fields.

• Minimum experience of 3-10 years, depending on the position.

• Maximum Age Limit: 30 years.

4. Assistant Director (BPS-17)

Qualification Required:

• Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.

• 5 years of experience in administration and project management.

• Maximum Age Limit: 30 years.

5. Accounts Officer (BPS-17)

Qualification Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Commerce.

• 3 years of experience in public/private sector accounts and finance management.

• Maximum Age Limit: 30 years.

6. Stenographer (BPS-16)

Qualification Required:

• Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.

• 3 years of experience in shorthand and typing (Speed: 100 WPM in shorthand, 40 WPM in typing).

• Maximum Age Limit: 30 years.

7. Computer Operator (BPS-14)

Qualification Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics from an HEC-recognized university.

• Minimum typing speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour.

• Maximum Age Limit: 25 years.

8. Junior Office Assistant/UDC/Cashier (BPS-11)

Qualification Required:

• Intermediate with a typing speed of 30 WPM.

• Maximum Age Limit: 25 years.

9. Driver/Dispatch Rider (BPS-05 & BPS-04)

Qualification Required:

• Secondary School Certificate (Matric) from a recognized board.

• Valid driving license.

• Maximum Age Limit: 25 years.

Application Process
