Vacant Positions

Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding Sindh domicile for appointment against the following vacant posts in the Inspectorate of Mines & Mineral Development Department, Government of Sindh. 1. Assistant / Accountant

  • BPS: 14

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

  • B.Com or BBA from an HEC-recognized university

2. Stenographer / Computer Operator

  • BPS: 14

  • Number of Posts: 02

  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university

  • One (01) year diploma in Information Technology from a recognized technical institute

  • English shorthand speed 120 words per minute

  • Typing speed 35 words per minute

  • MS Office certificate from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education

3. Junior Clerk

  • BPS: 11

  • Number of Posts: 04

  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years

Minimum Qualification:

  • Graduation with at least Second Division from an HEC-recognized university, with Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics as one of the subjects

4. Draftsman / Technician

Minimum Qualification:

  • Graduation with at least Second Division from an HEC-recognized university

  • One (01) year diploma or certificate from an institute recognized by the Board of Technical Education / Trade Testing Board

5. Tracer / Sub-Technical Staff

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 18 to 25 years

Minimum Qualification:

  • Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board

  • Elementary Drawing certificate from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Candidates meeting the above criteria must apply through Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) via the official job portal.

  2. Age shall be calculated in accordance with STS Rule-7 and relevant government rules.

  3. Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department.

  4. Appointments shall be made under the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and rules amended up to 2024, as well as prevailing Government of Sindh policies.

  5. Shortlisted candidates must appear for interviews before the Departmental Selection Committee, along with original documents, as per the interview schedule uploaded on the job portal.

  6. No TA/DA shall be admissible for test or interview.
