UHS Issues Admission Schedule for MBBS and BDS

The University of Health Sciences has issued the admission schedule for MBBS and BDS for the academic session 2021-2022. The schedule has been announced for all the government and dental colleges of Pakistan. The candidates who intend to apply for admission in the 1st year MBBS/BDS in the public sector medical and dental institutions of Punjab. According to the statement issued by the UHS the online application portal for the MBBS and BDS admissions will be active from 2nd November 2021 and the last date for the submission of the online application form for UHS MBBS admission 2021 and UHS BDS admission 2021 is 16th November 2021. The candidates are instructed to follow the issued schedule for the submission of the application form.

The UHS merit formula for MBBS/BDS admission is mentioned below.

• SSC/Matriculation/Equivalent degree program: 10%
• HSSC/F.Sc. Pre-Medical/ Equivalent degree program: 40%
• MDCAT - 50%

UHS Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants that have passed the HSSC or F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with at least 65 percent marks can take admission in MBBS/BDS.
• The applicant has a domicile of any district of Punjab are eligible to apply. Candidates having domicile of Islamabad can apply against open merit seats.
• The applicants must have scored at least 65% marks in the National MDCAT 2021. 
• It is mandatory for the candidates to meet additional eligibility requirements in order to secure admission. 

Procedure for Application Submission

• The candidates have to submit the application online and no manual or paper-based application will be considered.
• The candidates are required to register themselves on the web portal of the University of Health Sciences by their e-mail ID and a password.
• After entering the profile information the candidates have to upload the scanned mandatory documents, photographs, signatures, and left thumb impression (LTI) according to the provided instructions.
• Every applicant is required to list the medical and dental colleges according to their preference. The order of preferences after the selection will not be changed. 
• After the final submission of the application form, the candidate will not be able to edit his/her application.
• Hafiz-e-Quran and students with disabilities have to mention the required information and an SMS and e-mail will be sent to these candidates about the venue, date, and time of the Hifz-e-Quran Test/Medical Board 
• The candidates are required to submit the admission processing fee of Rs.1000/- in any branch of The Bank of Punjab.
• In case the candidates are found to have submitted forged/fake/fabricated documents then they will be debarred from admission for a period of 7 years.
• Candidates are directed to enter valid cell number and e-mail in their applications.
• Incomplete applications in any manner or those received by post or after the due date will be rejected. So the candidates must submit the application form completely according to the instructions. 
• After the submission of the last date of the online application, revised result cards will not be acceptable.
• Candidates having foreign qualifications have to upload the Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC along with the application form.
